Privacy policy
This policy explains how Bristol Sandblasting handles information submitted through this website. The legal entity and controller address require owner confirmation before launch; privacy enquiries can currently be sent to info@bristolsandblasting.co.uk.
Information we collect
We collect the contact details, postcode, project type, service selection, callback preference and message you submit. If you attach photographs, we also process those image files and associated technical metadata. When you use the optional postcode lookup, we also display editable town or city and county or region suggestions.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to understand the requested work, contact you, prepare or discuss a quotation, keep a record of the request, protect the website from abuse and improve the enquiry journey. Optional marketing consent is separate and unticked by default.
Website measurement
Google Ads and Analytics tags are not active in this website release. We do not send form, call or WhatsApp activity to advertising or analytics tags through this site.
How information is stored
Enquiry records are stored in the managed application database. Uploaded photographs are stored in managed object storage and linked to the enquiry. The project owner receives an operational notification when a submission is accepted. Credentials are held server-side and are not exposed in browser code.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed to host, secure and operate the site, and with relevant people handling your enquiry. If you use the optional postcode lookup, only the postcode is sent to Postcodes.io to return an editable locality suggestion. The returned public postcode coordinates are used in memory only for a rough straight-line Bristol travel guide; they are not stored, sent to lead destinations or used as a route-time calculation. No name, email, phone number, project details, photographs or advertising identifiers are sent with that lookup. Retention periods should be confirmed by the business before launch; data should not be kept longer than needed for the enquiry, legal obligations or legitimate business records.
Your choices and rights
You can decline optional marketing. You may ask for access, correction or deletion where applicable by emailing info@bristolsandblasting.co.uk. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Photographs
Do not upload confidential documents or images containing unnecessary personal information. Submitted photographs are used to assess the enquiry and are not automatically published as marketing or project content.
