Method
A test patch is used where the coating, timber condition or desired colour needs confirmation. Soda or other controlled abrasive media may be selected depending on sensitivity and the finish required.
Timber restoration
Old paint, dark finishes, smoke deposits and ingrained dirt can hide the tone and grain of original oak. We assess the timber and existing coating, then select a method and pressure intended to reveal the surface without treating every beam as identical.

Typical removal needs
A test patch is used where the coating, timber condition or desired colour needs confirmation. Soda or other controlled abrasive media may be selected depending on sensitivity and the finish required.
Floors, walls, glazing, electrics and fitted furniture are protected. Occupied interiors may need additional containment and a clear access plan.
The cleaned timber is left ready for the owner's chosen next stage. We can explain preparation considerations, but no protective-finish application is promised unless included in a written quotation.
